Technical Meeting Information

Registration: All meeting attendees must have a valid SATA 2025 badge, which can be purchased here.

Location: The technical meeting and business meeting will take place at the Hyatt Place San Jose/Downtown hotel.

Meeting Check-in: Attendees can check in at the Hyatt Place San Jose/Downtown hotel lobby on Sunday 6/8/2025 from 17:00 - 20:00 for badge pick up. Late registration and check-in will also be available from 08:30 - 12:00 on Monday 6/9/2025.

Accommodations: Attendees are encouraged to stay at the Hyatt Place San Jose/Downtown. Breakfast for two is included in the hotel registration, for each day booked at the hotel. Use room block code G-AIC for a discount on room rates.

Reception: A reception will be held at the meeting hotel for attendees and partners on Sunday 6/8/2025 from 17:00 - 20:00. Drinks and small bites will be provided.

Banquet: Technical Meeting attendees and Partner Program participants are cordially invited to a dinner banquet on Thursday 6/12/2025.

Meeting Tours: As part of the technical meeting, attendees will get the chance to visit the National Full-scale Aerodynamics Complex, Specialized Bicycle Components β€œWin” Tunnel, and more.

Presenting at SATA 2025: To be considered for a presentation slot at the SATA 2025 Meeting, please submit the following to sata2025.technicalconference@gmail.com no later than April 25, 2025.

  • Name(s) of presenter(s), their associated wind tunnel facility, and presenter bio(s) no longer than 60 words each

  • Abstract of the proposed presentation (maximum 250 words)

  • New prospective SATA members are required to present an overview of their facility for membership consideration

  • Each speaker will have a total of 20 minutes for their presentation, including time for questions; recommend 10-15 minutes presenting, 5-10 minutes for questions
